When Is The Best Time To Fix The Roof?
For those who know me know I love a good quote…
One I heard only recently was from John F Kennedy and it really hit home as it has carry over to what we preach in the gym daily.
“The time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining”
I have always wanted an analogy or short potent way to explain the importance of correcting things before they go wrong and in just 12 words JFK has done just that…
I’d like to think that our clients all understand the importance of living a proactive life. Heck I hope it’s part of the reason they come to the gym. The idea that in good times you ensure everything is in order so when it does rain you’re fully prepared.
So is now the best time to do your stretches? Or, when your shoulder starts to get sore? Is it better to refine your squat technique now or when you start to get knee pain?
This is just my way of reminding you that the sun is shining so the time to fix the oof is now!
