One Way To Continue Making Progress In 2020...

For most people when they join us the largest driver of progress is from an increase in their training intensity (not much to more) and the quality of the Accelerate program.

This rings true not just for those starting out on their fitness journey but also those who have a history of working out. This comes about for multiple reasons but by and large they realise their quality of movement can always improve and this leads to being able to train with more intensity…

What happens after this though? Once you have an understanding of how to work hard and move well, how do you keep progressing?

If we’re to look at the science of strength and conditioning it will tell us that in order to keep making improvements if you’ve been training for a while you will need to do more next year than you did this year if you’re to continue making progress. So once you’ve got movement quality and intensity under control the next step is to add volume!

This means training twice a week will need to become three times and three times will need to become four if you’re to keep making progress.

There are so many different ways to do this. So if you’re planning on continuing to make progress in 2020 the question you need to start thinking about is how can you sensibly add volume to keep making progress?

If you don’t know and would like some help please ask me how…
